Award inventory when partnered with Partner Airlines
I was confused with AS inventory when booking with partners. If I look at award space (on EF and on AS), if shows N or Z class but no W space on a domestic AS flight (say, SEA-LAX). I know that W (or A) is normally what's needed for combining with a partner booking. That said, when I look at a route with a partner (say, DXB-LAX via SEA), that route will now show as available for one award the whole way through. It only shows it for the flights available in N class (and obviously those in W), but not Z class, and only on some routes.
Has anyone else experienced this? What's the ruling on this? Does AS allow N space for some partners and not others?
