the notice is “for flights taken on or after January 1, 2020”. Given it’s Nov 1, 2019, I would guess plenty of tickets have been sold with the old earnings rules in mind. I assume the OP is looking for a notice along the lines of “for flights booked after...”

This isn’t unusual, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
