Early morning flight out of SJO. Two sleepy little ones in tow, having already gone to the wrong VIP lounge and made the trek across the airport to get to the right one.
There is an elevator to access the Copa Club, and a desk next to the elevator with a line and a lady doing something on a computer. Thought it was the lounge reception and wasted a few more minutes waiting there like some "genius", so already not in the best mood.
So we get on the elevator, four of us and carry-ons, but squeeze in a little more to make to for two middle-aged businessmen.
They get off the elevator and almost run to the reception desk. It rubbed me the wrong way because we could have easily told them there wasn't enough room in the elevator. Instead we got to wait in line behind both of them.
What would the proper etiquette be in this situation?
Prepare yourself for the same lack of courtesy when you're a senior.
