Bear in mind that United is the only one with pure revenue based status miles now (with the recent changes to MileagePlus). Before there were minimum spend thresholds (PQDs) in addition to the regular status mile accruals. I’m not sure LH would move to a pure revenue model like United’s without doing a hybrid first.
I’m curious what the threshold would be. It probably costs at least 30k EUR a year to get HON circle if you took advantage of literally every fare deal you find anyways.
