With 10X gas points for happy and no activation fee, it's an easy way to get the gas discounts. We shop at S&S, and it's really the only big, regular purchase we're making, so getting S&S gift cards is just easy.
Yes, VGC are easier, perhaps. But there's the activation fee and the fact that you're only picking up 2X gas points and of course Wal Mart is always a potential shut down for a MO.
Doing the happy cards and being able to use self checkout at HD is just very relaxing for me. Everything is on my way to somewhere, so I'm not going out of my way.
