Global Entry Juvenile Record
Hey, my boyfriend is applying for GE but has a juvenile record. He’s now 28 but when he was around 10-11 years old (he can’t remember) he was arrested and found guilty for stealing coins from a gas station vacuum cleaner machine. He was placed on a “probation” for a year where he couldn’t get in any more trouble and couldn’t leave the state of MA for 1 yr. We both live in NYC. He doesn’t have much other information on it as a he was pretty young when it happened and no documents as his mom has moved many times since then and lost any paperwork for the case. Should he still apply for GE? Will he need any documents regarding this case? He’s not even sure what type of crime he was arrested for, were assuming is was a misdemeanor for larceny but who knows. He’s not sure how to exactly explain it in the application. Does he explain this in the section under arrests and expungements? Since this was a juvenile case?
