Have stayed here three times this year, hotels OKish if rates reasonable, each time upgraded from standard room to canal view room on 6/7 th floor as a diamond and given drinks vouchers. The bar staff in sky bar advised not to book higher floor rooms at weekend as DJ music can be heard on top floors, floor 7 is nominally HH floor by sign in lifts.
On last stay in July when going to see The Eagles booked two rooms one paid other on points, breakfast vouchers for both rooms and four drinks vouchers. Turned out hotel was in semi locked down with security guards on lift and on 6/7th, rather off putting with security guard sat on chair outside room, turned out Sri Lanka cricket team were staying prior to World Cup match at Headingley.
Back in Leeds Sunday night at Hilton for first time so will be interesting to see what is like was £20 cheaper in current sale than DT.
