I swore myself off of IHG for the near term because of a stupid, semi-insulting promotion offer, but I might choose to stay once if the above is correct.

"Normal" points at Candlewood and Staybridge, half base points elsewhere plus two UA miles per dollar vs. two UA mile per dollar and no IHG points, normally.

A $200 night at CP would normally earn 2000 base points or 400 UA miles. Promo earns 1000 points and 400 miles.
