Don't worry, your situation is nothing out of the ordinary, and this should prepare you for your next flight on them...
I haven't flown them before but family and friends have had good experiences with them in the past so we booked generally expecting it to be fine. I had hoped that by fall 2019 they'd have gotten a handle on the RR maintenance issues - this has been a few years now right? - and have figured out how to plan a schedule they can actually fly with the 787s they have. Evidently I was wrong.

My wife is regretting booking our return on Norwegian. Hopefully it will be fine but I'll be watching closely and ready to book something else if anything looks fishy. It's been a nice novelty having the extensive (for a while) Euro service at OAK but I don't think we'll book it again in the future.
