What we have found & what we want..
We belong to Kris Flyer, United and Alaska frequent flyer programs. We are a Star Alliance member. We have not transferred any points yet but have about 275,000 points between 2 of us. We have found that United goes from San Francisco to Singapore, direct. Singapore Airlines goes from LAX to Singapore. We don't mind a layover but not a long layover, 2 hours is ideal. We will not fly into China. Has anyone ever flown from California to Kuala Lumpor or California to Bangkok? Our final destination ia Krabi, Thailand. Flights into Krabi come from Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpor.
