Day of flight you might be able to call and ask for a ‘same day change’ to the next day; the fee for this is $75 per pax and the space has to be available. Officially you can’t change to the same flight the next day, but sometimes you’ll get an agent who will do it anyway.

Transatlantic long haul does get priority in weather, so personally I’d just go to the airport as planned. You’ll probably be fine.

Thanks @dordal. Agreed — a few comments read as though they come from people who have never experienced a series of rolling, weather-based delays at Newark.
