Cancelled a MAD - JFK business class ticket last Friday. Miles (all from promo) went back into account today.

Its certainly starting to look like the IT isn’t advanced enough to distinguish as to where the miles originally came from.
I had to cancel a single promo award flight due to coming home early (family bereavement) and IB could not reschedule the award ticket.

Got all the miles back after 7 days + the taxes- the change fee.

Miles now transferred to BA
