Phoning them does not give an offering other than what you see on the website, and the website offers zero itineraries from YYZ to ICN that day. Are you implying that if I book via expedia and AC is late and I miss the OZ flt at SFO then they (AC) still need to get me to ICN one way or another?

There is zero difference on the day of travel whether you book with the airline or Expedia. ZERO.

If AC is late (and on this route it's a fair assumption), they will have to rebook you to the final destination regardless how you booked your ticket.
