Given how well AC seat maps work (badly) I would definitely call in, if nothing else to pick a decent seat.
If you share your flight maybe someone can confirm J0 as well? Or maybe J0Y0 etc.. which may mean it's massively overbooked. Is this flight in a few hours/days?
