Does anyone fly this nonstop regularly?

Seems to be a very popular route, as flights are usually full, or close to it.

There are at most, only three nonstops a day on EWR<—>SNA, compared with several EWR<—>LAX.

Is EWR<—>SNA super elite heavy? Seems like odds of upgrades clearing are lower than the p.s. routes.

I’m curious not only about upgrade experiences but why there are only three frequencies if the route is that popular; and who’s on these flights. (EWR-LAX is a very particular demographic for sure, which I try and avoid; but it’s somehow always cheaper to fly into LAX than SNA)
