I'm also looking at an LAX-LHR trip right on top of this construction. I usually connect through SFO on the outbound because of the early arrival time. All SFO connections are full C while everything else is D which I've never seen before. Difference is $5,000 instead of the usual $5. Looks like they are routing people to other hubs with the pricing as well.
