While The Hawaii Express only flew LAX-HNL, Air Hawaii flew LAX-HNL and SFO-HNL. There were also two other air carriers which used the Air Hawaii name, the first in the late 1960's and the second in the early 1980's. Both were commuter operations flying interisland routes in Hawaii with small turboprop and prop aircraft (I think DHC-6 Twin Otter or Cessna 402).
