We love Nice. Not for Nice itself but for the more off the beaten track parts of the Côte d’Azur such as Vence and of course Provence itself. Wonderful food (Mediterranean French), wall to wall sunshine and so picturesque. Some truly stunning hotels down there. As for NCE itself.... meh.
