I somehow ended up with three of these cards, so I essentially get to have 3 simultaneous categories. Plus, I also use these cards as my Costco shopping cards. Beats the 2% return of the Costco Citi card as I get my rewards monthly while that thing only returns annually.
Do you mean you selected the online shopping category to purchase Costco cash cards, and the transaction codes as online thus earning the 3%?
Costco doesn't allow Mastercard in store.
