It is indeed more efficient to take a taxi (and you get a view from the bridges), but it'll cost you an extra HKD 100 for the privilege. Unless you're defining "about" to be a 50% difference between 2 AE one-way tickets (HKD 180 I believe) and a taxi (HKD 300+).
