would the cruise company hold it? They prolly deal with this on occassion, id ask them.
You might consider a day-use room at one of the CBD hotels right near circular quay. Be nice to have a place to come back to, shower, change- before getting on the next 14 hr flight. Prices can be 25-50% of an overnight stay.
