Thanks for the link. For a Dubai-based member with limited time, I guess the best option is MCT-BAH/KWI plus a positioning flight. I am seeing options in either direction in the AED 6,500-7,000 range for flex. BAH/MCT-IST for even less. TRV, AMD, and CCU -- the only Indian destinations -- come up a bit more in my cursory search, as to the Pakistan destinations. Didn't do better on other non-premium-heavy destinations like CEB, CRK, or CMB.
Adding in the mini-vacation (including lounges in DXB) and mileage-run value, might be worth considering.
