27. (1961) You need to fly from New Orleans to New York next week. For a variety of reasons, you’ve never much cared for Douglas airliners, so you decide to book a flight on the only airline offering service with a Boeing built jetliner. The flight makes one stop enroute. Identify the airline, the aircraft and the single enroute stop.

If I were a betting man I would wager this was an Eastern Airlines 720 stopping (naturally) in Atlanta (ATL)

Well let's hope you're not a betting man because the airline was not Eastern. However, the aircraft was a 720 and the flight did route through Atlanta.

Dependent on when in 1961, this would likely be either Capital, operating with leased United 720s, or United themselves, as the two merged together in that year. The merger had been a long time planning, and United aircraft were being introduced onto Capital routes.
