Called the UK number and tried this. The rep was firm that you could only convert the OC8 to the NC5. She seemed to know what she was doing. Might have had better luck HUCA, but at this point I figured it was just worth converting.
I just had the same thing with my OC6.. I wanted to go to a NC5 and pay 30k extra.. she said it wasn't possible and that it would automatically convert to a NC4 and refund 30k. She seemed very aware of the process.
