Out of curiosity, and FYI, I just checked via American Express IAP. That same ticket that is $10.6k on Google Flights and others is $8.6k on Amex. And the $8.1k "promotional offer" prices at $7.1k on Amex. A substantial discount!

If you were downgraded, Air France would be legally forced to reimburse 75% of the price of the downgraded leg (per European regulations). And if you were downgraded to business, you would still be good on Air France, they have a decent product (I personally find it much better than Delta One unless you have the Delta Suites). So either way you should be just fine.

Enjoy your flight - it's an amazing experience .
Thanks - learned some things about AX IAP and EU downgrade regulations!
However, I am not thrilled at all about 380 and old 777 business class due to no direct aisle access and angle lie flat seat. I avoid these and take DL or the new AF 777.
I have taken 777 and 380 La Premiere, but it will be a first for my wife!
