Yes product is very important to me. But I don't like product lottery.

For example: AF does the 772, 77W and A380 on SFO. It's a very different experience depending on which aircraft they decide to use.

With SQ I have to find the 380 with new suites and even then no guarantees. Also it'll be my luck that the one with new suites will be 3x the cost of other SQ flights out of LHR that day.

Another factor is that these four longhaul flights in F would get me FB Plat or BA gold if I consolidated to one carrier. I do think that's worth something.

Surprisingly, am strongly considering BA. The first class is consistent across all planes. Consistently crap but it's consistent. And I think current BA F is better than old AF F.
