It would perhaps work if it was just Uppsala but it’s further than that. Normal daytime ride is about 50 minutes with a change in Uppsala. At the time of night that I ended up landing it was the 0400am that I would, and did catch.

Sas was pretty unclear if they would solve it so I just waited until 0400.

actually the 801 bus is pretty good and often beats the train. The platform guards at Arlanda can really slow down getting to the platform at peak times as you have to wait for them to open the doors. Generally I try to jump the 801 but it’s the next connection that whilst being great during the day kinda starts to fail at night.
