I am traveling in 4 days on a P fare and had bid via Plusgrade to F. Today, my reservation offers an uograde to F for $75 less than my bid. When clicking on it, I get an error message that no upgrade seats are currently available. (“ The current booking situation required a recalculation of upgrade availabilities. Unfortunately, we can no longer offer you an upgrade for a fixed price. We kindly ask for your understanding. You may try to request an upgrade at a later point in time again. (119308)”

LH phone agent says the system is waitlisting my upgrade when she tries. There are currently 3 F seats for sale on the flight.

Does the LH website offer presumably confirmable cash upgrades on My Reservation when none are actually available (separate from Plusgrade bidding)?
