Yes, was aware that the return segment is always higher.
But just got caught with a separate Aus to NZ booking which was higher still.
Anyway, was/is a good Airnz sale giving an effective return Napier/Sydney for 2 pax of $800 with a bit of mix/match! (not counting a $39 separate Airpoints domestic leg).
