Current NEXUS member who recently re-entered YUL. I had about 30USD of 2-90 day supply medications and I was arriving on an evening flight from the US (thus no lines), so I decided to use the Primary Inspection Kiosks. I clearly remember getting a code of `23' on my slip, which the BSO ended up circling a `O' and put what I thought was a check mark. (The next day I realise that the `check mark' was actually a `1', and the agent actually wrote `10'.) Anyways, he asked the normal questions of Business or Pleasure etc. When he asked if I had made any purchases, and I told him that I had prescription medications and that was it.

He then returned my passport, but then he had a bit of a shocked look on his face. I'm not sure if I accidentally raised my voice when I said `That's it', but I was tired after a 12 hour layover in PHL.
