I share your pain. As exp with fair amount of eqd I’ve been upgraded about 90% of the time on bos-Dca route over past year. Bought a ticket two days in advance today and only got a non mce aisle seat and was #5 on upgrade list.

Super inconvenient to lose the additional frequencies. JetBlue has increased frequencies and delta is jumping into bos-Dca (not quite a shuttle but maybe 8x per day?) this fall so I’m a little worried this could be longer term adjustment.

My corporate rate for JetBlue is about 40% lower than AA for unrestricted flights so if this continues I may switch. Main loss for me would be club access, but JetBlue gate to gate WiFi in 2x2 Beats 3x3 non MCE. If mosaic gave free even more seating I’d switch for sure.

I definitely recall service reductions on holidays but don’t recall a summer reduction before so also believe it is 737 max related
