Not the OP but having been to both…

I also got absolutely destroyed by mosquitos at the RC Langkawi, but what an amazing hotel.

Bali has a lot more to offer than Langkawi, but is a lot more crowded. Nature is equally beautiful and interesting. There's far better food in Bali. There's more tourists. Langkawi is amazingly easy to get around with empty roads, Bali is the exact opposite of that.
