Venice: Ca´ Sagredo - The hotel

We arrived at our first hotel, the Ca´ Sagredo. It is one of the 5 star luxury hotels in town and had some good reviews here. Prices are reasonable for Venice, with offers you can get one of the bigger suites for around 600 € per night.
We arrived with the watertaxi and first mentioned the famous hands were gone.

The hotel is an old palace with a rich history.

I didn´t took pictures from the ground level, but it´s a relative low and not too inviting room. Check-in was fast and to my surprise I got a voucher for a free lunch.
We booked a Historic Suite and I asked for the Sebastiano Ricci Suite. It was located on the second floor, the piano nobile. You can reach the second floor directly over the grand staircase.
