I've had many good stays at Villa Kennedy, and would still recommend it as No.1 option in Frankfurt, but lately the rooms have gotten quite worn and shabby. They starting updating them last year, so be sure to get one of the renovated ones.
On my last stay i tried Sofitel Opera, and was disappointed. Incompetent Front Desk, very odd room layout, terrible bar, uninviting lobby, F&B hit and miss. Good location in the heart of Frankfurt though. Back to Villa Kennedy next time.

Yes, I booked one of the renovated Jr. Suites. Hoping the weather will be nice and we can enjoy a good meal in their courtyard during the quick layover.
P.S. potentially visiting Tuscany (Rosewood) in December for Christmas. If so, will reach out and would love to stop by to say "hey!" or have a meal.
Although, I'm sure you guys will be busy at that time.
