I am flying in November from HKG to SIN on the 01.45 am flight, in PE with Cathay, and I am OW Sapphire member, I have three questions I hope frequent fliers are able to answer please:
1) as my flight is before 6 am, I understand I can check in from the railway station in town and access security any time the day before my flight ? I would like to try as many lounges as possible;
2) The Cathay Lounges and Qantas lounge close at 12.30 am and 11 am respectively I believe. Where are eligible passengers directed to between 12.30 am to 1.45 am, ? use the main departure lounges within the airport ?
3) Am I allowed as OW Sapphire in PE to use Fast track at security ?

There is no fast track in HK, but the security process is quick and efficient. Cathay lounges are open until the last flight of the day departs. We had a delay on our SFO flight last year which eventually departed at around 0130H and the Wing stayed open (used gate 3). You can use the in-town check in at Hong Kong or Kowloon if you have an Airport Express ticket.
