It’s a bit of a mess now as far as Group 2 goes.

In MAD the priority panel continues to indicate Group 1 but now also indicates Group 2 Ruby. That said as per above you can be group 2 with or without priority boarding (if Ruby you have it now, if you checked luggage you don’t). A little bit confusing for gate agents and passengers.
