i do think that this exam policy was (or if love to think still is) entirely sensible and good practice and I’m not sure how or why anyone would jump from that to double guessing a suggestion that what is entirely sensible and good practice should lead to bans on airplane, football stadiums or in a living room near you. There is nothing in the words that you quote that would suggest such a causality (And I can happily confirm none was intended).
