Last I tried to select seats and only one was showing as open which I picked but I couldn't get any other seat as all were blocked.
Called LH and was told that the flight is fully booked and no more seats are available for selection in advance.

Does anyone have experience with seats opening up at online check-in or will it stay all blocked until we get to the airport?
We are mainly concerned because we might not be able to sit together since we were only able to reserve one seat (window).
