I bought one last year after a brush with unusable hotel WiFi, figuring to use it as a backup. I ended up not needing it too much -- I have about 400MB left that will expire at the end of the month, so I will burn it off on my trip next week. I have used it as a power bank many times, though. The rates are similar to the Ubigi eSIM so if that works for me the GlocalMe my be relegated to the Hall of No Longer Used Gadgets.
It basically looks like a stock Android phone mated to a big ... battery. It is heavier than many more recent 5000mAh power banks, though.
