Not sure what type of hotel/experience you're looking for, but the St. Regis Bal Harbour is wonderful!
And for the record, I've gone to Miami in August for the past several years and it's been excellent. Sure, it's hot, but that's what pools, the beach, and good AC are for! Hope you have a great trip
