As long as you are not forced out of the secured area at LAS there is a train behind security connecting Terminal 1 and 3.

I made a super quick connection from WN in terminal 3 to DL in terminal 1 once. I thought it would be much worse then it was.

Mine was a domestic connection, which is the only reason I am not sure on how they will treat you as a passenger from Canada (will you pre clear and be a de facto domestic flight or not etc)

Otherwise terminal 3 to terminal 1 outside of security is a pain in the butt and definitely not walkable.
