Really Wonderful, Sparkling New Hotel

Check In Located in a convenient location for Old Town Dubrovnik and DBV Airport. EUR33 Mercedes Benz transfer from DBV which was convenient and luxurious. Counter service at the hotel check-in was friendly and pleasant. Room Room was wonderfully spacious and had an excellent balcony with huge sliding door allowing you to "air" the room properly and, if you left the door open, have the feeling of sleeping al-fresco. Bedding of the highest possible quality, his-and-hers sinks in the boutique-feel immaculate bathroom. Satellite TV which was as-per-normal in most hotel groups. Service Friendly engaging Staff who all seemed motivated and happy to see us. Dining We had Breakfast each morning which was of a High Standard. 3 different choices of milk-type, quality breakfast cereals presented well, excellent coffee and tea and fried alternatives also. Real Quality ambience in the modern dining area which overlooks the lake in front of hotel in a really tasteful way. Attentive staff who seemed engaged and to be genuinely enjoying their work. Location Srebreno is Outside Tourist-Dubrovnik which does mean you need to take either a Taxi or Local Bus to see the sights! That said This Wonderful Hotel was one of the highlights of our shortbreak to Croatia. We took the local bus to Dubrovnik which was about $4 each way. Overall I've not been motivated to write a hotel review before, this place though was So Damned Good I decided to make some time to write. In a part of the world with a troubled history, the Investors, Staff and All Stakeholders involved in this enterprise should be So Proud of themselves.I've stayed in some marvellous hotels around the world, this hotel though rather reminds me of the Croation National Football Team, able to credibly compete with/and potentially beat the very best.Only constructive criticisms : The don't serve Coca-Cola (I won't drink Pepsi) and Room 266 had slightly loose (or perhaps poorly fitting?) wardrobe handle-doors. If you're in Europe and want a great-value high quality break, I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're visiting Europe on a Multi-Country tour you should include Dubrovnik in your itinerary and make sure you stay here! Thanks to All the Staff who Served us........
