Many Chinese (not all) love to have the air conditioner on at 27 degrees. It is drilled into them that water under 30 degrees or air temperature under 25 degrees is unhealthy. You even see children outside walking around with 2 layers of clothing when it is 25 degrees and you can see them sweating. How the grandparents solve it? Oh give them a sweat towel tucked into the back of the neck.
I personally always feel a cool room feels more fresh and of course sweating in bed is not fun.
