Wow. This used to happen some years ago---in some cases they would approve the card but deny the bonus. Then they stopped doing that. Apparently they have started again. I have no idea if it is related to the fact that you applied after the listed expiration date---that hasn't been a problem so far.
In any case there's nothing to be done; you aren't getting the bonus. The rest of us would love to know exactly what triggered this.
if there is no 24 month language on the mailer, how could they enforce this? of course i have no case since the mailer wasn't in my name and was expired, but if it was in my name and wasnt expired, i don't see how they could deny the bonus
