I was only offered this task and when I go onto the offers section I see 0 / 40,000 in the progress bar at the top, but "24%" for the status (screenshot attached). I too was concerned, especially when viewing on the app, I was not getting the points but this was not the case.

https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/us/e...-mgmt/activity and there should be able to see "Double Your Stay" as a line item within the total earned for a stay.
Unlike accelerate, it's bundled in the total for the Qualifying Stay when looking at the Account Activity and not its own line item there,
. As long as you see stays registering and a percentage in the progress I think you should be getting the points.
