Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? We booked the cheapest room with Club access and were upgraded to a high floor corner suite.

How are the rooms? Great for the three of us. We had a rollaway bed in the sitting room. Sofa and two arm chairs plus a desk in the sitting room then a HUGE bed and dressing table in the bedroom. Wardrobe/dressing area in between the two with the bathroom leading off this which meant that midnight toilet trotting did not disturb others. Nespresso machine with 6 assorted capsules plus kettle with tea bags. Fresh fruit and water delivered every day. Bathroom amenities were large size Agraria.

How is the exec. lounge? Staff were fantastic, greeting us by name. They sent pump action water guns to the room for Songkran, which was appreciated. Service hours were long. Breakfast 6-11, afternoon tea 2.30-4.30, cocktails/canapés 5.30-7.30.

What was good and what was bad? Good - Welcome points posted quickly. Received a 700 bt voucher to be redeemed at the spa. Massages were dirt cheap in the mall opposite so we didn’t use this. There were several Club Lounge special events during our stay, including seafood cooking demo, spa taster massage, roast beef night, salmon en croute night etc. The pool was gorgeous, it was just the right temperature to cool down after a day of sight seeing. Well equipped gym. Bar allowance was 600 bt which was a couple of drinks at the pool. No pay per view TV, but a great selection of DVDs to borrow at no charge.

Bad - There were only 15 loungers which we thought may be problematic for a 37 storey hotel but we always got one. I ate breakfast in the Espresso restaurant once. Choice was better but it was busy, noisy and chaotic so stuck to the lounge.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? We paid an average rate of 7,254 bt/£182 which we were happy with for three. It would have been half this without the lounge.
