I’m not in the habit of defending BA — it’s a middle of the pack carrier at best and one I regularly avoid when better alternatives exist — but I regularly ask for soup and starter in F and have never yet been met with anything but polite (and accommodating) attitude in response. There are many failings in BA’s F product, but this one is foreign to me. Not saying you are wrong, but perhaps you were simply unlucky?
