You’ll depart Acapulco on Friday afternoon, have a 3 ½ hour layover at the connecting point and arrive Papeete at a little after 2:00am. Two airlines will be involved, each airline operating the same type of aircraft. Can you identify each airline, the connecting point and the aircraft type?

Last effort: ACA-LAX Aeromexico, LAX-PPT Air New Zealand, DC-8s

New day, new quota

Actually, all I ask is that we limit ourselves to two questions at a time. Once they've been cleared, go ahead and address a couple more - even if it's on the same day. I see it as like sitting at a dining room table with 8 other guests. There's a big platter of fried chicken available for everyone. Even though we could easily eat more, the polite thing to do is to just take a couple and when we're done with them, have a couple more. As you know, given internet access issues on my end and other stuff going on in life, addressing your collective responses isn't always such a speedy process, especially if it takes two or three responses to arrive at the correct answer.

16. Identify the airline that has the most domestic 747 flights into Miami. Additionally, identify the cities it serves Miami from with the 747

Let's start with Delta, serving the following destinations:
  • Atlanta (ATL) Correct! 1 flight daily
    • Boston (BOS) Incorrect
      • Chicago (ORD) Correct! 2 flights daily
        • Dallas (DFW) Incorrect
          • Detroit (DTW) Correct! 1 flight daily
            • New York (JFK) Correct! 2 flights daily
Spot on - and then some. ^ So here's a

BONUS QUESTION: Which domestic U.S. airline offers 747 flights from Chicago to the most destinations? What are those destinations?

23. Aside from Delta’s flights, if you wanted to fly aboard a Convair 880 out of Miami during the summer of 1972, only one other airline offered scheduled flights. Identify that airline and the destination it served.

LANICA, operating to Managua

An excellent guess - but NO! It wasn't LANICA. Please guess again!
