I booked a hotel that was going up the day before the changes and the points were correctly debited. The reservation confirmation email doesn't mention the amount of points deducted but the "my activity" section of WOH does. The online reservation changed yesterday and now shows the new amount of points (i.e. 20K instead of 15K).
Hmmm... Interesting. I'm sure they are going to get some calls about the updated rates reflecting on reservations that are already paid for in points. Could just be a bug. Who knows, maybe they won't deduct my points. Not holding my breath.
