Flying to PVG and was orginally in old first seat 2K. They now changed to polarized and in 2L.

I'd rather be in an odd numbered polarized seat that is by the window (1L is taken). But I'm worried about changing to 3L as I'm not sure what will happen if they change back to a non-polarized. Would my current 2L revert back to 2K in first automatically? And if I change to 3L now, would I not get back in 2K if they revert to the non-polarized?

I think it’s not happening as much as it used to. I’ve been watching ORD-FRA-ORD for the past 3 weeks and nearly every flight changed fo Polaris about 48 hours before, but none of them changed back to the old config.
But of course... nobody knows. Watch and hope. Good luck!
